Alejandra Cardona

Alejandra was born in Colombia and moved to Switzerland in 2007. She concluded her acting studies at the European Film Actor School in Zurich. Alejandra worked as an actress on several feature and short films like Goliath (Dominik Locher), Schweizer Helden (Peter Luisi), El silencio de las flores (Arnulfo González), several theatre plays at Schauspielhaus Zurich, Maxim Theater, La vox theater, Theatre Basel and several performances in the free scene.
Her debut as a filmmaker was in 2016 with the experimental short film "Marina". It was selected (Jury top 10) in the Zurich Film Festival in the competition ZFF72.

  • 2016: Luz & Fer, experimental/fiction/horror, mobile film selected in Final Girls film festival, Berlin (GE) among other European festivals. Switzerland.

Currently she is working as a producer and director on her first documentary film La voz de la Montaña.
