Arnulfo González

Arnulfo studied Theatre at the Fine Arts School in Cali, Colombia and lives in Zurich, Switzerland since 1993. In 2007, he made a documentary film on “Santeria”, a religion based in intense Syncretism with Indigenous religions, spiritual concepts and Christianity which spread across the world, largely due to the migration of Africans, occurred with the Atlantic slave trade, sold and transported to Brazil, Cuba, Colombia, Dominican Repuplic, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The documentary was filmed in Nigeria, cradle of this religion. Arnulfo’s intensive investigations and research are reflected in the documentary and deeper echoed in his book “Ordun” . It was translated into several languages successfully published in Barcelona.
